They have an aarch64 release, but they are on an RC for 8.3. Alma has x64 only, but they are doing a beta for 8.4. These are early days still, but this could be some very good stuff.

Massive 9 gb download to get started installing. Anaconda is still a complete disaster after all these years. Good old RedHat, I truly have not missed you one bit since the early 2000's. Already deleted it, dodged a massive bullet with this stupid thing.

I will have one install of Centos Linux 8 that I will deal with by the end of the year. I think I prefer the free upgrade to RHEL route. That way I will be able to forget about it for up to 5 odd years. Either that or I may move it to Centos Stream - I have moved one install over to this and it has been flawless.

Correct, that's because it's still RC. You can expect the full GA release to be up there. AWS is a sponsor of Rocky Linux.

AlmaLinux is the RHEL clone.
