      It supported previous versions before, now it supports version 14 too.

            But I like systemd. It works much better than the confusing old system with update-rc.d and runlevels. It restarts failed daemons automatically. Service files are easier to write than init scripts, more powerful, and more reliable. Debian with systemd is way better than the old Debian.
