Fedora has SELinux enabled by default as a security hardening feature. This comes with a performance penality of about 5% (shown in earlier tests on this site).

Fedora iirc also ships more security focussed gcc flags such as fstack-protector-strong which have performance penalties.

But on the fortunate side, Fedora (and subsequently RHEL) has been immune to a few recent serious vulns (journald, pppd exploits etc) which Ubuntu/Debian fell victim to.

this test is with nvidia hardware so this means the result is BIAS in favor of nvidia hardware.
not because nvidia hardware is better instead only because ubuntu is paid by nvidia...

we have 2 fractions fighting here on one side whe have the gnostic illuminati IBM/REDHAT/AMD/debian

and on the other side we have the bloodline illuminati called the "cabal" chasarish jewish mafia: Intel,Nvidia, microsoft
the free measons with 33° who are in the satanic/egoist club of the order of 9 https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_Nine_Angles

for me the case is clear i buy IBM or AMD hardware and i install redhat/fedora/debian

and if you want to be on the evil side well buy your nvidia card and install windows and leave the linux forum alone.
            ROTFLMAO!!!

The said thing is you received 3 upvotes.

SELinux affects the entire system and is a big beast where as AppArmor doesn't have the same extensibilities nor covers the entire system.

With both F32 and U20.04 having WireGuard built-in, how about adding the shiny new test to these benchmarks?

The benchmarks are a multi-day effort and were started prior to having the test. But there is a multi-distro comparison coming out next week that will have WireGuard data points.
