Technically, one can still get a (presumably expensive) Extended Life Cycle Support (ELS) contract for EL6 for which critical fixes may be able to be provided until the end of June 2024 for licensed server platforms, but for all practical purposes EL6 (and its work-alikes) are frozen after November 30 2020 (whatever is shall remain as it is).

Nice to finally see Python 2 go away.
Python 3 is nicer, the Unicode handling is so much better.

I thought that we were in the process of removing Python 2(.7) support, not Python 2.6 !
