It's an AM4 processor, so it's apples to apples for the 5 out of 6 AM4 chipsets this processor will work with. The power supply is even more generic since at a 35W TDP just about any desktop power supply will be sufficient. As mentioned previously, a stock cooler is included.

Ryzen? Absolutely not.
AM4 on the other hand? Absolutely not.

It's just marketing. I remembered that AM4 came out ahead of Ryzen with a few Bristol Ridge APU's but those were *also* DDR4.

But it looks like ~$175 is about what it would cost. You could skimp more on the power supply, and that AM4 board can support just about any Ryzen processor.
