  • MAC Randomization in Linux

I noticed that a feature of Android 10 will be full time MAC randomization to protect privacy.

Previously, this had to be activated in Developer Mode.

Is this option even used in Linux today? Is it even possible?

If the OS is pulling MAC addresses out of the predefined pool stored (where?)

Google Chrome will be randomizing the user-agent by default ( available today with a plug-in)

I can see access logs now with 25 entries for the same device name, but different MAC addresses for each.

If you wanted to block the device, you would have to block every MAC on the firewall.

Any other issues I haven't seen?
