    I have KDE on top of linux mint tessa, from the neon archive project, I was jus too lazy to burn and download kde neon and had a linux mint cd lying around.

    Looks decent, but too bad for the Windows 7 task bar and for installing Flash if you tick the box for 3rd party software. Why the hell do they still include Flash?

    Cinnamon is what KDE (and Gnome3 for that matter) should have been like. My only regret is that Cinnamon is so Linux-centric that there's no real way of using it on BSD. I have Mint with a Cinnamon desktop installed for my parents in their joint laptop. Beautiful, intuitive, complete-looking.

    ... except that KDE Neon never had a GNOME edition to begin with, while Mint used to have a KDE edition.

    @Danny3 you can always install it from ubuntu repo. I prefer/like cinnamon. For me KDE feels so bloated to the point of making me sick of it.
