Does it matter that Clear Linux used performance scaling governor, while Arch used powersave?

I like the new graph, that avoids going through pages of bar plots. However, you can only visualize two things at a time. If you would like to put multiple distribution at a time, I suggest that you take one distro as reference (i.g. clear) point and all the other distro show the same plot as you did (+ or - x% in comparison to the reference).

Michael I really like the new graph. As for suggestions -

• Render as SVG with a direct link to the open benchmarking result (i.e the test name in the first column links to the test result itself)
• hover text (if you can in SVG?) with the actual results per row
• Adding the geometric or harmonic averages at the bottom for a summary, (with a little bit of padding to distinctly separate it from the body of results
• Does it render error bars?

The actual graph is SVG, just for this article used a screenshot since OpenBenchmarking.org didn't re-base to that new code yet.

Hover text unfortunately isn't reliable since for how SVG embedding is done to serve cross-domain and allowing fallback to PNG images in old browsers and such, under Chrome that means putting SVG inside an <img> tag where you then lose out on the ability to hover and such. Or just telling people with non-SVG you won't get results anymore.

No, I did an article looking at that before "trying to make Ubuntu perform like Clear Linux" and only explained a minor bit of the difference, just like the CFLAGS only did as well.

I guess that star plots could probably convey the same idea, so could line graphs. Which brings me to the following:
Have you considered using the same graph, but flipped by 90 degrees? It could lead to some possible vertical-space savings.

Flipping it 90 degrees would run into issues unless having horizontal scrolling so same issue. Due to being space constrained to like 900px width for the site layout.
