Would be better to be true. Users don't need many packaging systems... Linux's community approach to have many tool solving same thing causes only harm..

What for? Fedora has wildly different libraries which can only be suitable for Debian Sid and also libraries locations, sonames and patches are often quite different from Debian's, so it's just a wasted effort. In short, most likely no one needs this, likely no one will use this.

RPM is far better than .DEb is. though having said that RPM is ugly. it shopuld be rewritten from scratch IMO but i somehow dont think Redhat/IBM are gonna worry about that. RPM works Great better than debs do

if you look at the History of RPM, i dont think Redhat/IBM are gonna shelve it

That sounds like installing Borland C++ on Windows 10, and compiling 16-bit code for 3.1. Fedora and Debian aren't even the same century.

Yeah, we can barely use Ubuntu packages on Debian, and they are closely related.

DEBs are better because they are newer and could learn from RPM, but it barely matters anymore. There are systems on top of both that solves the issues, and those tools are doing all the heavy lifting these day for both formats.
