See #18 for your answer, particularly the parts about "thinking", "too much trouble", and "work".
An ounce of hard work and critical thinking, mixed with actual experience, is an excellent replacement for a ton of whining and display of laziness.

Get a Chromebook; stay away from serious forums.
You still didn't answer my question. Quit avoiding. Show some substance.

Most components are not done by Ubuntu, nor Debian either - they're free software. Any GNU/Linux operating system is a free software collection and distribution, some having more or less components. Debian took it on themselves to compile everything from source, Ubuntu also compile their programs but most of them are taken off of Debian, and Mint takes its software from Ubuntu and Debian, without compiling most of it, and adds its own software. Everything is fine and the users get the operating system that serves them best. I see no problem in any of this.
