        Are there kernel-alt packages for x64-64? According to the 7.5 release notes, the 4.14 kernel-alt is only supported for ARM, IBM Z and Power9.

          Wanting "CentOS/RHEL ASAP" is a neat little oxymoron, if you ask me.
          You do not want LTS and enterprise stuff ASAP... you want it when it's actually ready and reliable.
