    Archlinux is a generic GNU/Linux distro, that doesn't prejudice itself towards any given use case. Clear linux is like Alpine : explicitly targeted at a subset of use cases : container/cloud.

    Apples to oranges comparison, because Clear Linux uses a lot of non-standard parts in it's platform and other bizarre choices that mean reduced functionality and limited choice in setups.

    There's only one (awful) supported bootloader in Clear Linux, with Arch you can take your pick of all of the major ones. Can't do disk encryption in Clear Linux, so it's useless for me.

    Ubuntu is a marketing exercise, to keep corporate users happy, generally useless and has the wrong philosophy.
