    Too big of a release. We had to wait way too long for this.
    I wish we had more releases in between.
    Some of these features and improvements we could probably have had long time ago.

    I wish VLC and GIMP had better release management.

      On Windows they don't even ship the x64 version by default.

      What does 'Optional systemd support.' mean?
      Also what is the status of Chromecast (I'm using SMPlayer for a while now)?

          Does it use Qt5 these days? Kinda got annoyed with it being the only thing stil using 4 and so havent installed it on my newest build

            Yep, the version on Git has been compileable against Qt5 for a long time now.

              VLC is OK for windows but I tend to use SMPlayer with mpv on Linux - even the bog standard media player on Windows is good enough these days

                In Fedora you can use VLC 3.0 for few editions!

                    Finally :-) And it works on Wayland if the video is rendered instead of the main window in a second one.
