The fact that somebody wishes to look into using Qt 3D with AR/VR, and doing so in the public eye to get early feedback, doesn't detract from the other work being done towards stabilizing Qt 3D.
Qt 3D is still a young module within Qt and with a very broad scope, so it's not unreasonable to have a slightly higher than average number of bugs at this stage of its life. This is all open source, so if you have a particular problem, there is nothing stopping you from contributing a fix or paying somebody else to fix it for you.
