    Headless support landed in Firefox 55 for Linux: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bu...id=1338004#c34.

    @Vistaus, sure.
    I just want to make it clear that QtWebKit is alive, there are many users out there, not just due to fact that QtWebEngine is simply not available for the same set of platforms.

    BTW, this quick reply editor sucks, somehow it double pastes everything for me, and duplicate ends up inserted at beginning.

    Yes and no, QtWebEngine is not a full replacement and it cannot replace all use cases, at least not without a lot of effort (and I know something about that, since I support both in Otter Browser).

    Sorry if I didn't explain it right. What I meant was that the Qt Team superseded it with QtWebEngine. Whether or not it's a full replacement is a different story (and yes, I know that there are missing features in QtWebEngine, I'm using it in QupZilla).

    Headless is so passe, I'm waiting for hydra mode: start it in headless more, it spawns three GUIs!

    More interestingly Chrome 58 is rumored to be switching over from GTK2 to GTK3.

    True but Capybara isn't going to support that. They're looking to CEF instead.
