    I'm glad Solus will use Flatpak for certain applications like Chrome and the Steam runtime.

    Its a shame that Canonical is pushing Snap instead of Flatpak and like Unity and Mir, will be Ubuntu only in its walled garden as other distros will ignore it.

      Its not a shame, snaps are very good and not limited to desktops, and they dont use the runtime approach used by flatpak. Its still too soon to claim than flatpak is the best option, technically speaking
