      KDE is slow and resource hog that is constantly under development and unstable. KDE has 3 applications menus, non of them is freely configurable like the Xfce Whisker menu. You can not put panels everywhere you want in KDE easily, it has stupid default settings like the item in right top corner. Xfce is ready, it is not under constant heavy development and Xfce is freely configurable while all other desktops are not.
