            It's already on Neon User Edition, and there will be a special LTS edition which will be kept on 5.8 until it gets replaced by the next LTS release.

              Installed it in KDE neon, the multimonitor problems appears to be gone. The Wayland experience with the Intel driver don't look good, though.

                  I am having the exact opposite experience. As soon as they released that update my laptop screen won't come on anymore unless I am connected to an external monitor. I've tried every setting I can think of, pressed the F8 button so many times (it's the monitor switcher on the keyboard) I've tried deleting the K screen folder in .local, I've switched to Nvidia 370, and I've updated my Intel firmware. As soon as they said that they were releasing a fix for multi monitor mine went to crap.
