The videos are especially nice in seeing changes in the update. I am quite relieved to see the formula pop-up tip for spreadsheets! The single toolbar mode also feels good.

It will also be available as a snap package for Ubuntu and all other distributions that support snaps.

Good to see. Must get donation to them done.
Would be great for the update system in Windows to auto update presenting user choice.
Currently it just downloads from memory. This is on a work PC.
          Easy at home with Linux.

No I dont, I found this information on Softpedia article about Canonical joining LibreOffice Advisory Board, it is quite possible that flatpak will be available too.

Nice, but some of the GUI screenshots look pretty ugly: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/...eNotes/5.2#GUI

Libreoffice devs: "we're releasing a major update, let's bump the minor version number a bit".
Firefox devs: "we've fixed a typo, Firefox 1658.0 is on the way".

And that is a problem because you're doing what exactly with the version numbers?
