Planning on giving it a shot when it hits 1.0 in 2080.

But yea, wish I could like enlightenment but its just too damn weird for me.

I've always liked enlightenment, but it always seemed not quite finished.

So, it will be full wayland support in 0.21? :-D

            There are some bugs.
Known Issues ------------- * Internal window (eg. filemanager), DnD is not currently functional - Requires various improvements * Restarting Enlightenment kills some applications - Requires upstream external protocol support, XWayland improvements * XWayland clients do not smoothly resize - Requires upstream XWayland improvements * The first-launched X11 client will sometimes fail to show - Requires upstream XWayland improvements * Some issues related to keyboard layout switching - Requires various improvements * XWayland crashes on start - Requires XWayland release - https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95337
and while the Xwayland stuff they can't fix i doubt they will fix the DND and keyboard layout stuff. Would be nice though.

I HIGHLY doubt drag-n-drop won't get fixed soon. And since most of the other problems are Xwayland related, it all should work fine in xorg

Regardless, the EFL and Enlightenment are really in a good place right now. Things feel very solid with 20.8 to me. If I wasn't such an i3wm addict, I'd probably use it all the time, and not just for non-development.

Edit: BTW, the stable Enlightenment releases are now done by Simon Lees off OpenSUSE and it's naturally available there as soon as possible.

@c117152 the DND and keyboard layout issues are wayland only.
