    Tried kdenlive 16.12 on Ubuntu 16.10 from the kdenlive-stable PPA. After Openshot and Pitivi failed horribly, this one was the first video editor that was working flawlessly for me. IMHO UI is not that intuitive as from the other two, but good enough to get along without too much hair pulling.
