Can't wait until Wine on Android becomes usable enough to play D3D/OGL games.

Wine on Android will be for x86 IIRC, which is a very limited target compared to the millions of ARM devices using it.

DirectX 11 support needs to hurry up and come. It won't be a silver bullet but it will help.

That said, other technologies are here or coming very soon to enable us Linux users to play the latest and greatest AAA Windows-only games, even while Wine is still working on DirectX 10 and 11...

Could you explain how you got Fallout 4 to run?

Wasn't the argument against pushing the patches for gallium nine in wine, that it is too Linux specific? How come they add Linux-specific patches for Pulseaudio?

Obviously by using VMware Player's Direct3D 10 support...
Which is not an option for everyone by the way, as one still has to plague himself with purchasing & installing & (worst of all) maintaining Windows!

Imagine: CossOver + http://andex.exton.net/?p=372 (Android x86 with Mesa with Gallium, RadeonSI, Nouveau) + http://www.jide.com/en/remixos = TOTAL Desktop Linux KILLER

This combination should be a new redistributable ChromeOS. It wins with donz of Android Apps (with M$ Office) and ability to play desktop games. IMO it would twice the Android Apps market.

Actually I propose simillar concept last year: https://plus.google.com/+TomaszWitke/posts/C8qvADQc11R

Currently on Linux Wine audio goes: Wine > ALSA > Pluseaudio > ALSA > Hardware, with this patch it goes: Wine > Pulseaudio > ALSA > Hardware.

Wine supports multiple audio drivers such as Core Audio on OS X, with audio it is easy to use and maintain multiple different audio drivers, but if they built there graphics support ontop of gallium nine then it would be hard to get working on other platforms.
