      Yeah, why can't they just stick to what the other 10% of Linux desktops run? Free software means freedom from choice, right?

        Please don't put words into my mouth. I just asked out of curiosity because from what I can see is that they are starting a lot of projects and in the long run they are adopting to whatever other distributions are using. But as you stated they have the freedom to waste their own money and time.
