    But this still won't work with Kaveri APU, right? Only Fiji-based GPUs and Carrizo APUs (only for laptops which sucks)?

      The 'alpha anti-aliasing support' being introduced is in fact alpha-to-coverage. We already have several alpha rendering options, but this allows us to ignore performance-heavy alpha sorting on certain kinds of overlapping materials (hair, foliage, cloth). The look of it improves with each level of MSAA.
