    When I visit the blog, the sidebar is right in the middle of the web page with article to the left and no content (only white) in the right of the sidebar.

      Same here with both Firefox and Chrome.

        It has a fixed width (width: 500px) and is aligned left (float: left). That's how it should look like in every browser.
