Should be a decent holdover until KDE Connect has better Gnome support.

Why do they simply not implement kde-connect protocol, stripping kcmshell parts?

Does this work over a normal network connection (assume the tablet and the PC are on the same network segment) or does it really need a point to point BT link?

A point to point USB connection whould be welcome by battery hungry devices too.

That's against the ethics of uncooperative Gnomes.

Obsolete before it was even dreamed up.

Android bleeps and lights up the screen when a notification arrives. If your phone is on your desk, that means you just need to ROTATE YOUR EYES TOWARD IT to see the notification.

I'd personally very much welcome it. I hate unlocking my phone to see what the notification is about.

Don't see how it is obsolete. Phones are not always in your desk and you aren't always sitting on your desk when say using a laptop.

Last I heard, better support for Gnome (and windows and Mac) was already either planned or already in progress for kde-connect.
