    I really do not understand why you argue guys because for me PoL and Wine are very different, because used by 2 different user types.

    - PoL is an "out-of-the-box" and friendly tool, perfect for Linux noobs who can play a descent number of games just by clicking "next" "next"
    - Wine can be used and tweaked by Linux enthousiasts to get a fine tuning for performance if you spend "a little" time on it

    Last point where I agree with the PoL team -> they can NOT test ALL softwares with ALL versions of Wine with ALL options...
    but if you did fine tests and tuning for a specific game, please report this to them so anyone can benefit from it!

    To be honest I do not use PoL anymore because I like to tweak and compile Wine myself now, but it was useful for me and I found it awesome so thanks to the whole team
