Chromium on HIDPI is fine on my laptop (MS Surface Pro 3 w/ 2160x1440 resolution running Antergos (Arch based distro)). Opera 25 beta was the one looking awful for me on HiDPI, maybe 26 changed that. Will see. Currently using Yandex.Browser which looks great on HiDPI as well.

on my lenovo yoga 2 pro (3200x1800 on 13") only opera worked out of the box with hidpi. the others (firefox, chromium, ... ) needed a massive amount of reconfiguration. and in case of chromium it just scaled the website content, the interface stayed small
