I just switched to Gnome 3 today though, to give a real spin for a couple of weeks (since I was horrified at where Plasma 5 is and is going).

Plasma 5 is just a Qt 5 port of Plasma 4, with a different default artwork (the old artwork is still compatible).
The migration is still not complete as the announcement made very clear.
Claiming that Plasma 4 was OK but Plasma 5 is horrifying, makes no sense even for a troll.

I'm all for a consistent look, so CSD should be killed with fire as far as I'm concerned. It's enough problems that apps don't take the system color theme, now ppl seem to want to have even bigger problems with window borders, yuck.
