      It was pushed to Plasma 6.4

      This allows the client to get proper fifo behavior, by waiting for vblank instead of frame callbacks. Draft because we should handle tearing presentation better before...

        A few observations.
        • Thorough review on the protocol by the mutter team
        • Thorough review on the mutter implementation
        • Lots of CI on the mutter implementation
        • Lots of testing on the mutter implementation
        • Some overlap with weston
        Also fast development but that is really not a quality.

            MrCooper has been advocating for a long time that timing control in Wayland can resolve VRR fluctuations. Really looking forward to this!

                Wrong. Initial (experimental, not accessible via UI yet) HDR support landed in mutter 47, the plan is to expose it in UI for 48.
