One dumb behavior - when you hit the Space key to wake up from sleep - it wakes up and goes instantly back to sleep because the menu still there and the sleep button still has focus. But I'm sure they consider it a feature.

The Discover change actually allows distributions to control the set of applications on the Discover home page, not just the number of them.

I am confident in your abilities and I am sure you can manage to file a bug report if you consider that a real issue.

you can do it! I believe in you!

Seems like a smaller release, did they focus more on bugfixes or something?

We considered it a usability issue and fixed it for 6.2.0: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=493439

There weren't many user-facing fixes this week, but Plasma 6.2 is large release they've been working on for months.

I switched from Fedora 40 (Gnome default) to Nobara 40 (KDE Plasma 6) a month ago.
The faster KDE development, does produce more end-user bugs.
When I try to shutdown the system while my laptop lid is closed (using an external screen), the system somehow interupts the shutdown sequence and tries to go into sleep mode instead... (because the lid is closed I guess)..

So I have to teach myself to always first open the lid before attempting to shut down or reboot.

All that unwarranted toxicity in your comment just so you could get yourself ridiculed a mere 4 comments later. Way to go my dude.

You're projecting your toxicity onto others. I've been proven right: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=493439
