That policy change was one of the least significant in the release changelog... but here we are.
No impartial journalism here. Not at Moronix.

It is called "click-baiting" ... and one of the reasons I refuse to buy a membership on this site to support Michael.

As a descendant of slaves, a black man, and someone living on a island populated at 98% of descendants of slaves (and descendants of slavers too) I would like to say this:
      WE DON'T GIVE A F*CKING RAT *SS !!!!!
Peeps, take a deep breath, take it easy. Most of the people whining about "bad offensive words" are seeking attention. Most of the doucheb*gs dismissing any and every attempt to build a better world are...well I already said what they are.

There is a path, in-between. Let's just try to be decent human being, let's not INTENTIONALLY hurt one another, and you'll see things are gonna be WAY better.
Oh, and some people (on both sides) just NEED to have something to complain about, so nevermind them.

Wow, I hadn't heard about that one. Looks like they tried to keep short and simple. https://github.com/LadybirdBrowser/l..._OF_CONDUCT.md

I also noticed that one of the first results when I searched for "LadyBird browser CoC" was some W3C meeting notes where one of the questions was "Why don't you have a CoC?" And then goes on to nitpick about how this shows privilege and it's not proper open source or something.

Seriously?! Honestly who does that? What a way to engage with people who are starting a new technical project. Hyper online people need to go outside sometimes.

Just search the name of the person saying it shows privilege, and look at the GitHub profile...

And it's working, this article is only 9 hours old and we are already at 75 posts, meanwhile the articles with actual technical material often barely get any posts.

If I were Michael I would just say screw it and every article would be slanted with politically correct jargon.

I hope that last sentence doesn't offend Asians and carpenters.

No, this is starting to permeate in other languages as well.

I would like to take some credit here for being ahead of the times.

Many years ago I wrote to various projects and told that the terms whitelist and blacklist were offensive because it reinforces the stereotype that white is good and black is bad.

I suggested superior list and inferior list, but they felt that it might confuse people.

So then i suggested cracker list and n-bomb list, but for some off reason they didn't listen to me and here we are years later.

                  Damn liberal hippies.

How do you know everyone complaining is white?

For the record, I suspect that most of them would probably not want to work with you at the car wash either.

How is it against GPL? Since when GPL states that software can't block certain keywords?
