Low IQ liberals/progressives. Words are words. It's the intent. The reality is you will always have the need to discriminate between levels. And now you've codified for all the world that you are indeed racist in the way you use words like autoconnect_slaves, connection_master, etc. Congratulations, you played yourself.

Imagine getting offended by words that could mean bad things (in specific context) but clearly aren't meant to offend even my cat that I don't possess.

Wait, I said "possess", I wanted to say "have the priviledge to have in the house that I currently live in".

Not surprising to me most people here are having knee-jerk reactions to something that doesn't affect the user in the slightest. Sure, this change warrants an exasperated eyeroll, but nothing more.

And very few people, if any, would have noticed the change if Michael hadn't emphasized it in the title. But hey, we can have more outrage and trot out our favorite memes like "woke", 1984, etc. if we act like countless hours/dollars were spent on it and it's restricting our freedom to name our access points!

I am in a BDSM relationship and me and my sub are very offended by RedHats incredible hatred towards master/slave terminology.

If it doesn't affect the user in the slightest... why do we need to change it?

Do you keep a log of your exploits in the NM config files? If not, then keep minding your own business.
