    >Firefox 131 also now allows grantng temporary permissions to websites with those permissions lasting for one hour or when the tab is closed.

Finally! Brave had this for a while.

Seems to be only for desktop though.

Firefox is my default browser, but as a developer I need to switch to any chromium-based browser as their developer's tools are so much better; I would love to see Mozilla putting more effort on this area.

I'm not a web developer (just small hobbist projects) but I'm curious: what you can do with chrome that you cannot do with FF (I'm also a FF user)?

The feature was already implemented in 129, but only enabled by default for some users and otherwise opt-in.

Does CHIPS offer anything that is not already covered by Total Cookie Protection, which is already enabled by default for some years now?

                This update feels very "meh".

I mess the innovation that came from hardcore software developers that Mozilla fired in order to pay management's ridiculous salary.

These are pretty solid minor improvements. Software development does not get any easier when the code base grows. I'm pretty happy with what they've delivered during the last 1-2 years.

mozilla spends entire user contributions only for firefox development. period.
