    1) ctrl+esc (system monitor / process viewer) - not working
    2) ctrl+alt+esc (kill a process by clicking on its window) - not working
    3) Hotkeys when changing keyboard layout - not working
    4) Using custom / available resolutions on wayland (like 800x600) - not possible

And just to confirm - Did you really reused ctrl+esc hotkey, that was used for opening process viewer for ETERNITY and assigned it to _CLOSE WINDOW_ ? Are you actually really trolling your users guys? This is no joke - on fresh KDE install, pressing ctrl+esc CLOSES THE CURRENT WINDOW! Where did all the quality control on KDE gone?

Yes, type ahead navigation is still broken I think (last I checked about 2 months ago).

I am excited about 6.3. I hope the tablet interface will be improved. I am using Plasma 6.1 with a Latitude 7285. Although it is better than Windows 11 tablet interface, there is certainly space for improvement. To begin with, onscreen keyboard is not consistently/naturally appearing and disappearing by itself and manual controls are buggy to do that. But Plasma is still preferable since Windows 11 is too slow on that computer.

Kubuntu 24.10 and Plasma 6.2.0 are releasing in the same week of October. So, I don't think so. But there is a good chance that they could update to 6.2.x later since 6.1.5 will be included already.

What I want know is when will they rewrite Plasma in Rust so that it becomes a real DE and not a half-baked Windows clone.

That should generate about 18 pages of arguing.

    You're welcome Michael. :-)

Hopefully the new tabs that are not tabs will get a visual design overhaul before Plasma 6.3, they look strange to me. The content separation from the button feels wrong, not sure why they want to do this, everything in that tab screenshot at Nate's blog seems misaligned.

There's still no way for plain typing to select desktop objects and for Dolphin to select the next entry when the typed letters were already included in the first result, right (the f9 seach bar doesn't count)?
With obstacles like that, it feels like bad Windows clone not following through.
