Read the link above or move along. You wasted everyone's time posting twice already.

You posted more than me and offered a stray github link which I did read and that offers zero evidence that supports any of your claims. Feel free to try again and quote specific portions or explain yourself better if you actually want to convince anyone else.

Gimp has previously suffered from not being able to integrate code drops, so I understand why they wouldn't want some consultancy doing work for a fixed period.

Also, the gimp developers have integrated those interested like AlexSa/CMYKStudent quite well through the GSOC project.

Right now Gimp probably has the fastest development it has had in over a decade, so I dont think we have much to be worried about.

Those complaining will also be those that will be unwilling to contribute with their own time or effort, so they can be safely ignored.

Just because some random user posted they have $millions in the bank does not make it true. Posting to a gitlab issue comment is not evidence.

Good, they can go and look for evidence if they need one. It's not my problem some can't read and analyze that thread.

if we deal with GTK/Gnome this really sounds like a good choice...

people report that develop against upstream GTK/gnome is maybe no fun.

i don't think so... they always welcome more money.

here we have a problem because GTK/Gnome devs have dropped the support for macos and windows...

this means only totally outdated GTK3.0 is the only option to have any windows or macos support...

you are clearly wrong they would be happy to have full time developers but who will pay for it ?

String freeze? So they don't accept any new strings?
