Why did you never write an article about the GNOME Foundation kicking out an elected member in silence.
We did have an article when the Shaman left, but Sonny Piers getting axed didn't make it.

"Files" and "Disks" have to be the most stupid app (they are not programs but just simple apps) names. Try to search for them. It's not clear when if they are program names or just descriptive names of things when in a headline, bah. It's like calling all your children "Human", you just can't distinguish anything anymore. When has this begun? and why?

Too bad they don't push to integrate it into Gnome 47 ;-(

This means that the availability of this feature will not be available under Debian 13.

Because all it would be is a hit piece against GNOME and the GNOME Foundation about their lack of transparency since anyone that knows the facts and reasons aren't willing to speak up. Frankly, GNOME's lack of transparency around kicking out a voted in member is the only thing factual to report on. Unfortunately, GNOME community leaders like Ebassi defend that lack of transparency as integral to the integrity of the Code of Conduct complaint process.

I think operating the shadows and hiding what and why is opposite of integrity and honor. That's especially true when it comes to Codes of Conducts, complaints, democracy, and voted in members. To me, the GNOME Foundation has no integrity since they're holding secret votes with classified information to remove democratically elected figures. Classified courts removing elected officials in secrecy makes me wonder if no one is speaking up out of fear of retaliation from the fascists in power.

Reading Sonny's blog makes me think it has to do with the treatment of Holly. It seems like practically everything Sonny did was related to Holly and the STF so that's just an easy conclusion to jump to.

Trying to avoid clear technical terms like "mount read only" and "mount read-write" makes it very confusing, at least with the currently presented options and descriptions

It can also make people assume there's a "Drive" program for virtual disks since every other option opens the file in a different app. The one option that writes to a disk is described as "write to a drive" and people from Windows might assume that means to create a virtual E:\ drive and not writing to a disk.

Idk man, I've never searched "this PC" for windows file explorer, or "files" for Android file manager. Like why would you search those? Like why??

And it should be reported on.
It's not any less important than Holly quitting with no stated reason after 9 months. It is actually more important.
Especially for people who donate to it.
