Ksnip is bloody broken, flameshot didn't work, I tried like 4 or 5 apps and finally gave up and use a python script to take screenshot. it's still pretty early in development, but the fact that I have been using cosmic for a week straight already shows it's high degree of competence in the developers, as well as it's potential. can't wait to start making bug reports and feature requests lol
Yes, KSnip is broken for me and a lot of others. But don't complain to the dev, he'll just tell you it works for him and closes the issue.

as a work around, anyone on cosmic can do use this to take a screenshot and copy it to clipboard, from there you can import that into whatever image editor

      Code:
      cat \$(python $HOME/.local/bin/screenshot.py | sed 's/file:\/\/\///g') | wl-copy
      Script here: https://gist.github.com/danshick/344...eced4ac255ac3d

I checked, indeed Super + A is the default value. But there is still a lot to get used to after classic XFCE, it's a pity there is no switch to classic control, because the transition is very slow and I need to work on a PC.

its still very much alpha software, I wouldnt be surprised at all if something will change in the future to make it more classic
