The nice time after an stable release

During the code freeze for stability, there are some developers, who are still working on improvements and new features on its own fork. So they hold the own changes back, until the code freeze.
But after the code freeze, all that developer integrates its changes in the main WINE version.
And because the code freeze needs a long time (8.0-rc1 was published december 9, 2022; so its ca a month), the code holded back is much. And so the first unstable version after the stable one, have a lot of new improvements and features.

And there's more regressions filed on every stable release.

They should be fixing regressions, especially with their own shit, instead of working on new features. They broke it, they fix it. God damn.

      This includes performance regressions.

It would be nice if Codeweavers would stop gatekeeping the code that makes Wine compatible with newer versions of MacOS.
