No Bugzilla is fine. I'm old, I'm used to it, and I like it. Ugly, but effective.
I assume using gitlab issues can work well for them too.

GitLab's interface is just as big a hurdle IMHO.

I wonder what's better for them about Gitlab CI instead of Jenkins?

With GitHub still a central developer tool -- the average Dev & newcomer is going to feel more at home and more engaged to contribute on a Gitlab.
Just how poorly screenshots & screencasts are handled on Bugzilla alone are a major communication problem. No, sorry -- 50 kb JPGs isn't going to be "good enough".

As a bug reporter, I guess you could call my interactions with Bugzilla as "avoidant" -- I feel like I'm stepping into some kind of archaic IBM government building when I go there.

It is incredible how much of a shitshow Wayland is this many years later. X will never fully go away at this rate.

Other options are not any better. The bigger issue here is the bug reporter. If Bugzilla is "unwelcoming" then I question your ability to file a bug report.

I agree with your first sentence.

You mean specifically the Kwin wayland compositor right? Otherwise, your post does not make any sense.

As I'm not USA based, can someone please explain me more in detail what's all that rant - in the comments - of user "Someone Concerned" about?!
