With a VPN, it's like paying for a second ISP that tracks & knows absolutely everything you do online!
Neither ISP or a VPN can track everything you do. Things like split tunneling has existed for ages. Public VPN providers aren't the only way you can use a VPN anyway.

Also, they will be turning in everything they have the second the police knock at their doors. After all, the police words "covering for a ring of pedophiles" is a death sentence for any business.
Not only all of the above, but they also sell your profile data to advertisement companys; and unlike Google, when one uses them all the time (like configuring the VPN service in your router), they are able to profile your habits on another level!

How can this be something desirable?

Still, a lot of people fall for this scam, mostly thanks to YouTube shills and the possibility to consume even more mindless series on Netflix & Co.

Really sad, but the unfortunate reality we all have to live with!

VPN is fine and used all over the place. Some public VPN providers may be compromised. It's not the same thing.

A Mozilla representative said they will implement "part" of V3, implying they will not sabotage adblockers. But mark my words, in the next round of funding negotiations, Google or anyone Mozilla turns to (since they all earn from advertising), will pressure them to implement V3 in full, no matter the backslash. Especially if Firefox usage numbers start to grow again after Chrome shoot itself in the foot. And knowing the actual Mozilla board of directors thirst for money, they will bow to the pressure with a smile in their faces.

Prepare yourself to migrate to a small stuborn Firefox fork, with the guts to maintain older code alive.

Not interesting as hardware acceleration, is this WebRTC at least peer to peer or it routes everything through Google's servers ?
Did they fixed the IP leak of the protocol ?
