    Hmm... and what is SDL? A low-level platform abstraction layer for access to graphics (capable of rendering to hardware frame buffer ie beneath the window system) and input devices. And a few other optional creature comforts on top of that.

    Gosh, microcode... are you sure it's me who doesn't know what they're talking about?

    Maybe try gaslighting people who haven't actually done graphics API programming... they will be easier targets for you.
