    It's not exactly clear what they've done with it, but it wouldn't surprise me if they kept "a copy for future uses".

    In all likelihood the impact will be almost nothing on Chromium itself. PPAPI flash was only ever really loaded when you needed it and it wasn't really that heavy, nor was the code to host it all that much.

    No need. I disable the location service on my smartphone,and live in Europe where collecting personal data is illegal, and Firefox asks you, you can decline. Not even sure what the default is in firefox, but it did ask.
