I could get used to these 2.99.xx releases being a regular thing.

The way I heard it explained the jump from GTK3 to GTK4 is much less a jump than to GTK3 because all the legacy when GIMP had its old toolkit built in.

Time to cut the fat. I hope to see more more a Client + Server / Client + Lib relationship with the Interface and GEGL/Engine being as separate and simple as possible. Cut that fat out. The GTK3 is BEAUTIFUL compared to v2.

Flathub beta should help here. I think they will also have regular pre-releases now as they plan to be read for a final release before end of next year.

Going by that reference, GIMP Forever means it takes forever to be released. Nah, I'll stay with my good old GIMP 3D.
