      Is it able by now to properly display HDR movies on normal (non-HDR) displays (TVs and monitors) or we should continue to use MPC-HC + madvr ?
      On Linux I don't even know if there are programs that can do that.

              It makes for a rather nice home theater. I use an old intel nuc, a logitech harmony remote to control TV and kodi, and a usb dvb-s stick. Even my wife likes it, which says a lot
