              Dovi It’s going to be a mix. Some stuff stays on GTK3 and other stuff migrates fast.

                Gnome, so to speak the Gnome Shell does not use GTK, at least not directly. It uses clutter and the based on it St standing for shell toolkit.


                The userland applications like nautilus that are using GTK directly will migrate but not all directly with 40.
