Maybe. I can tell you that videos are still missing in a game released this year so mf is still quite broken. I'm 99.9% sure videos will still be missing in another game from years ago. And this is with 5.15.

The media foundation and media features stuff is quite complicated which is why no one was working on it previously. No one wanted to deal with it.
