No, it's reality. You're spreading propaganda. I have a laptop with i5 and nvidia so I'll tell you in a moment how pathetic you are. There's no even video acceleration in Firefox 78.

If you have Nvidia GPU's + iGPU (or some AMD GPU), you are much better off running the DE on the iGPU.. just my 2c

That sucks,... GNOME 3 has got the best design for me, I'm fully productive with GNOME 3. As... With other DE/WM I spent more time fighting it, than doing productive work. Only viable alternative is Unity/Lomiri.

Well, I am not a fan of gnome 3( but I am of gnome2 ).
Unity was a nice desktop, but I never went with it, if follow the same principles or same guidelines for a new different desktop..
I like full standard desktop's, and gnome 2, or Mate is what I like to use..

I didn't knew about Unity8 changing the name, seems that it will be a option on par with gnome3, and kde..
Seems that debian based Deepin, goes with Lomiri..
