License files are untouched for the past couple of years: https://github.com/qt/qtbase

I cant see the qt6 pre-releases on there so someone who has filled in the details to allow the download through their website would have to confirm what the licence options are.

Without knowing more than Qt6 has evolved from the Qt5 code base, one tentatively assumes the same open-source licenses: GPL and LGPL, possibly upgraded to version 3.

There's TQC's commercial license as well, for those who need commercial support and/or do not wish or are unable to comply with GPL.

Brand new features on brand-new code, of course, may be licensed however TQC desires. They do need to stay in business.

You forgot to reference the boiling a frog analogy. You are slipping. Shape up or we will dock your next check.

I guess the usual greedy proprietary license.
As we know Qt since 1996, they either find a way to exploit the community and sell the code contributed by it for big profit or its 12 months for GPL licensed version under their mercy. Personally I wish the Qt company goes forward with their 12 months plan.

Yea, lets pretend the Qt company does not shamelessly exploit the community while treating it like dirt.

Are they blackmailing money from Community?
