Nearly two years? You mean nearly twenty years?

So will I be able to purge Python 2.x now? I read the release notes and it isn't clear. Some sentences could be interpreted as meaning Python2 is gone, others could be interpreted to mean it's being kept around for the time being. I can't see anything which says Python2 is a dependency or Python2 support has been dropped.

He probably means the GTK3 transition.

Does it generate any cleaner SVG files? Or does the SVG files still look ugly inside?

Also is the program easier to use for novice users now with the changes?

I am really bad at graphics, so then for us noobs its good if its easy to use.

Are you selecting "Inkscape SVG", "Plain SVG", or "Optimized SVG" when saving your file?

...and at your suggestion I just dnf installed inscape on fc32. It pulled in python3-numpy and python3-scour as dependencies.

(Oh. And ImageMagic-c++ as well. Guess we know where the performance boost came from )
